George Mason likely to be in Diamond Head Classic tournament next season

Just before tip-off on Saturday, Washington Post writer Steven Goff informed us that George Mason is trying to get into the Diamond Head Classic field for next season:

This year's field will consist of Arizona, East Tennessee, Indiana State, Hawaii, Miami, Ole Miss, San Diego State and San Francisco. Not as exciting as say the Battle for Atlantis field for 2013 but we'll just have to wait and see who joins and if Mason does in fact play in this one.
